Eileen Kelly - Visual Arts

Recent winner of EEA Dan’s Reimagined “People’s Choice Award”, Eileen Kelly is a Visual Artist & educator based in New York.  Born in Brooklyn of Irish decent, she holds an MS degree in Mathematics - Queens College, and currently resides with her family on the North Folk of Long Island. Eileen is an entrepreneur, founder of Artistic Aftermath and a self-taught artist. She is also a working artist at the East End Arts, as well as a board member of the Art League of Nassau County.

Eileen is fascinated by color, patterns, shapes, sequences, and symmetries. As she is awe struct by the harmony & proportion of our natural world, her work embodies an expressionist process, portraying an emotional response while communicating an inner awareness. Eileen has been artistically influenced by the energy and technique portrayed in the artwork of the post-impressionist movement with artists such as Van Gogh, Cezanne, Gauguin, Seurat, Matisse, Braque, and Picasso. Her work can be found in galleries across Long Island and in numerous private collections.
