Artist Statement
I have considered myself a working artist since I sold my first drawing (of Elvis Presley no less) to a friend for $5 when I was just 12 years old. I’ve even made sure jobs have been art related, including silk screen shop artist, technical illustrator for government contracts and patent applications, and art gallery associate. I continue to freelance as a graphic artist for magazines, catalogs and books. My primary focus now is creating art that people will want in their home. This collection consists of a hodgepodge of paintings that resulted from my dreams. I’m inspired by nature, fantasy, science and history and hope you find inspiration in these pieces.
